Weekend luncheon

I abhor the sandwich shop chains on this diet. Whatever it is, they put something in the pot that includes carbs. A sprinkling of quinoa on your salmon sir? How about some flour in the Caesar salad dressing? No! Silly people! The sole exception I’ve found is Pret a Manger, and the pot with two boiled eggs and some spinach in it, which is hardly a keto meal.

So weekend lunch is a treat. I love cheese almost as much as I love bacon. So today I had a selection of fine cheeses, comprising Stilton, Cheddar, Brie and some full fat soft cheese. My substrate was celery and a little gem lettuce. Pure, unadulterated bliss. I am looking forward to some cheese and wine evenings, although I guess I’ll have to take my own celery…
